Happy family on a beach with thumbs up

Kathy and Andrew Phillips at Villa Arrecife

Villa Arrecife is a place that you will want to return to over and over. The view on top of the roof is breathtaking. On a clear day you can see for miles and at night the stars go on forever. We spent two glorious weeks there. The accommodations are superior. All the appliances are brand new and well kept. Villa Arrecife has its own water filter system, so no worries about drinking the water! The pool at Villa Arrecife is so beautiful - we spent a lot of time cooling off in it (especially after coming back from one of our tours or walks from the ocean).

The Chedraui (grocery store) is close, ten minutes by car. Akumal beach is ... fantastic! It's about five minutes by vehicle and worth spending some time there. There are some great restaurants there - . "Lol-Ha" and "La Buena Vida", to name a couple. The snorkeling is wonderful in Yalku Lagoon - lots of coral and fish to see. One thing we would do next time is bring our own snorkel sets. You really do use them a lot!

"Aktun Chen" is close by, not overly expensive, and is awesome! The caves and cenotes are breathtaking. If you plan to go there, make sure you go early (around 10:00 am) after that it starts to get busier. Tulum has some ruins that are something to see. Again, go early it can get very crowded with bus tours.

Play Del Carmen is approximately twenty-five minutes away. It has some great restaurants and nightclubs if you want an evening out. As well as beautiful beaches.

Our children took advantage of the "Kids Club" at the "Grand Sirenis Resort" and they had a blast!! The staff there are wonderful with kids. My children would have gone everyday if we let them! We took advantage of the aqua circuit at the Spa at Sirenis - definitely worth doing!!!

We highly recommend this villa to rent.
It's a place that we hope to return to soon!

Our stay at Villa Arrecife was absolutely amazing!! The Villa is so beautiful and inviting, it felt like home. It was lovely sitting on the rooftop terrace at night enjoying the breeze off the ocean. We spent hours swimming or just floating around the pool, it was very relaxing.

My family and I had a wonderful time exploring the Ruins in Tulum, wandering the lively streets of Playa del Carmen and swimming with the dolphins at Dolphin Discovery. The Grand Sirenis resort was wonderful and we enjoyed all it has to offer.

We look forward to our next holiday at Villa Arrecife!!

What an amazing time we had! Weather was perfect, but spending time with family was even better!

We leave Villa Arrecife with heavy hearts but tons of memories. Akumal was amazing - the swimming and beach were perfect for Simon who ingested a LOT of sand.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We were looking for a place where we could take our grown children and grandchildren. The villa exceeded all our expectations. Alex their property manager is always available and so willing to help. The housekeeping is above and beyond what you'll expect. Location was perfect for us, easy to reach the ruins, beach in Tulum, beach in Akumal, grocery stores in Akumal, Playa and Tulum. Tamara, the owner, is easy to get a hold of and very fast at getting back to you, if you have any questions. All of her recommendations were 1ST class!

We ate at Lo-Ha 3 x's, went to the Lagoon 2X's, and Aktun Chen cenote. ...Depending on how long you have, vist Coba early in the morning, stop in the honey store and taste the nectar from the stinger-less bees.

You would have just visited their temple. The place is beautiful. We also had an elderly great grandma (seeing impaired) and a seeing impaired grandchild! Enjoy, you won't ever regret it, or have anything to complain about!
